Simena® Signs Distributorship Agreement With Fovence

Reston, VA, July 28, 2004- Simena announced today that it has signed a distributorship agreement with Fovence, a fast growing consulting and systems integration company in Singapore. Fovence will provide Simena solutions to the extensive customer base in their region.

Simena Network Emulators enable network software developers and network engineers to determine how their product or service would perform under several network conditions such as speed, latency, congestion, etc. They emulate these conditions by capturing and processing data packets transparently; connected devices function as if connected to a production network.

These products can be used with any network protocol (IP, IPX, AppleTalk, etc.) and operating systems. Since they operate at the link-layer they do not require any network configuration changes on client workstations or application servers. They are also managed by easy to use, web based, graphical user interface.

Simena Network Emulators come in three different models to meet various user requirements and budget. NE100 is the most affordable and portable of the Network Emulator family. NE500 is the mid-level model and its fast processor can handle up to 100BaseTX network emulation. And NE1000 is the high-speed model with unique features for power users.
