Simena® Announces a New Product, Network Emulator NE100

Sterling, VA, June 9, 2006 — Simena, the leading provider of innovative network test equipment, announced the release of its new product, Network Emulator NE100. NE100 is the latest member of the Simena Network Emulator family which was developed based on the current customers recommendations. The new model has a very small size (2.7” H x 9.5” W x 7” D) that it can easily fit in a laptop bag. It is ideal for traveling technicians and sales engineers. With its fanless chassis it is so quite that it is hard to notice it is running.

NE100 has three 10/100 Mbps ports which can introduce network impairments up to 45 Mbps. It runs the same innovative Network Emulator software as the other Network Emulator models and it can be managed remotely via its easy to use web interface.
